Wow! What a great event!
This seminar with Dr. Howard E. Hagglund, M.D. was the first in a series to be presented this year (2008).
Dr. Hagglund taught a course covering:
Master Points for Pain Management
The Art and Judgement of Suturing Wounds
Fracture Assessment and Casting
We had a wonderful crowd of over 60 participants. (left)
And the seating was much improved, as we used the other side of the hall where the pews had cushions and padded chairs were available! (below)
Dr Hagglund addressed the basics of wound assessment, when to suture and when to tape a wound, cleaning and infection control; assessing fractures and how to dress them with a cast; locating Master accupuncture points for pain relief and management.
