These forms, which are modular
blocks made of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) are used to build concrete walls,
floors, and ceilings, for both residential and commercial applications (above
and below grade). Women can work with this product readily, as ICF construction is lightweight.

Babes in Belts has sponsored seven Installers Workshops with Logix representative George Volker over the past two years. With the support of Logix and George Volker's generous donations of the door charge to Babes we were able to educate and train hundreds of community members in building with insulated concrete forms. These workshops not only made construction easy to understand, but inspired many women with an "I can do this" attitude.
